Our Story
Wild Crafted Home grew from a simple and steady belief:
that the work of the hands, the pace of the seasons, and the act of making beauty from what’s around us are essential parts of a life well-lived.
We are Raleigh and Oliver, and together — with our dog Leo always close by — we build a life and a home through the work of our hands. Wild Crafted Home was born from a shared devotion to traditional craft, to working closely with wood, fiber, and iron, and to building a community that values the skills, stories, and culture rooted in making.
We met in England, both traveling from our home countries, drawn together by a deep love for craft, and from there our path unfolded: traveling, learning, and slowly planting the seeds for the life we wanted to live.
Today, we live and work from our home and workshop in Sweden, surrounded by forest, field, and a community that continues to grow.
Our work is made with care — not only in the crafting itself, but in the relationships we form along the way. We select our materials carefully: storm-fallen trees, locally harvested wood that supports biodiversity, natural fibers, traditional techniques. Every piece carries the story of its place and the hands that shaped it.
Wild Crafted Home is not just about the objects we make.
It’s about gathering, sharing, learning together.
We believe deeply in craft as a way of life — a way to reconnect to the land, to one another, and to ourselves. Through workshops, gatherings, collaborations, and shared meals, we invite others to step into this way of living with us.
We hope that when you hold one of our pieces or join one of our gatherings, you feel it:
the invitation to slow down, to notice, to make a home not just within walls, but within community, craft, and culture.
Our work is personal.
And we hope that your experience with Wild Crafted Home will be, too.
Whether you bring home a hand-turned bowl, join a seasonal workshop, or dream up a custom project with us — you are part of what we’re building.
There’s always a place at the table for you.
We can’t wait to welcome you into the Wild Crafted Home community.
