“Welcome to our traditional Christmas market at Gunnebo, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year! For three weekends in November, the area will be filled with Christmas spirit.
Here you will meet around forty exhibitors offering food crafts, ceramics, woodwork, textiles, silver and other unique Christmas gifts. The café courtyard serves food from the grill, sandwiches, cakes and warming drinks such as coffee, tea and mulled wine.
Enjoy Christmas carols, stories and fun while experiencing a genuine Christmas market in a historic setting.
The Christmas market is open 15–16 Nov, 22–23 Nov, 29–30 Nov (we will only be there the last weekend!)

This will be the fourth edition of NOTHING NEW UNDER THE TREE. HOORAY! This year's program is now starting to take shape.
For 3 days, 5-7 December, the Handicraft Consultants in Västra Götaland will arrange a festival about crafts, arts and crafts, design and sustainability in the Kronhuset Rikssal in Gothenburg. It will be a mix of sales, inspiration, a second-hand and Vintage corner with both new and previous partners. Our overall theme is of course sustainability.

Christmas market on December 14th from 12-4pm
Our lovely Christmas market offers a Lucia procession and atmospheric Christmas music as well as the finest the region has to offer in terms of both food and crafts. Coffee is served in the manor house; high-quality meals in the form of sausages with bread, hamburgers, pizza, rice porridge, borscht, Belgian waffles, Dutch Olieboller, hot spiced apple juice are served in the courtyard. Traditional building materials offer Christmas crafts for young and old.

The basics of axe carving in Stockholm
Suitable for beginners as well as slightly more experienced axemen who want to learn axe technique. Some people have an axe but hesitate to use it due to insecurity. Some people are comfortable with axemanship but want a deeper understanding.
We will go over basic techniques with the carving axe. If you master these basics, you will have the knowledge to carve any object you want. A great way to develop your axe skills.

The Art of Kolrosing
Discover kolrosing—a traditional Scandinavian technique for decorating wood with fine-line designs filled with natural pigments. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll cover the basics of the technique, from incising patterns to applying pigment. You’ll have the opportunity to practice your skills and create a small piece to take home. This accessible craft invites creativity, whether you’re new to woodwork or looking to add to your skills.

Bowl Turning on a Pole Lathe
A two day class is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the full experience of Pole Lathe Bowl Turning. During this class you will learn to safely axe out your own bowl blank, and then using the lathe turn a wooden bowl. Compared to a one day class you will have ample time to complete a good size eating bowl, with the potential to start or complete a second one. In this class we will also cover sourcing wood, sharpening turning tools, chat about design and more.

Last year's craft weekend was so successful that we want to do it again, but with completely new courses of course!
SLÖJDFEST is held at Ålands Folkhögskola in Finström, Åland, and offers a unique opportunity to learn new crafts, deepen your knowledge and socialize with other creative souls.
During the weekend you can choose from a range of different courses, such as brush binding, carving, picture weaving and leather sewing. You can find all courses and registration on the SLÖJDFEST website .
