Hook Tool Forging

It is a natural progression after you start turning to learn to forge your own tools. This workshop is open to those who have never forged (or turned) before.

  • 1-2 day Turning Hook Forging - Max 6 students

    Learn to forge your own turning tools for the Pole Lathe. We will bring the forge, the anvil, the tools, and all other machines needed to forge turning hooks.

    This course can be geared towards making entry level tools or more specialised hooks. The cost of materials, gas, and some wear/and tear on the forge & tools usually amounts to 20-30€.

Soft Fiber Class size: 4-20 people

All classes will include breaks. Please bring your own lunch unless otherwise stated or arranged. Tea, Coffee, and biscuits will be provided as well.

Hosting: Would you like to host a class? Do you have a indoor or outdoor space where workshops can be held? Please get in touch! We like to offer hosts either a discount or gift for providing a space for workshops to be held and for helping promote the event. Thank you for considering and we look forward to creating with you.
