Oak Handled Wooden Locking Lid Box

This is a very special piece. A turned box with handles on two sides, and a locking lid. I have imagined it filled with special treats, incense cones, chai mix, jewelry, etc.

This box is an heirloom piece to be passed through ages. I’m excited for the life its going to live.

Made from oak wood and darkened with an oxidizing solution. It has been turned on a foot powered lathe made from Oak Wood from Sweden. 

Bowl Care:

Wash in warm to hot water with soap; towel or air dry. Regular use is the best way to keep your wooden piece conditioned. Every few years, if you need, you can use a food grade wood finish on your bowl. 

The patina that develops on wooden wares over time enhances their natural beauty, imbuing each piece with a unique character and charm that reflects the memories of countless meals shared and generations of use.
