Broomcorn, Sorghum vulgare var. technicum or Sorghum Bicolor, is the best fiber for sturdy handbrooms and handled sweepers. Grown and processed in Mexico.
With a rich history and world wide modern day use with many purposes.
Sold by Weight. At this length of broomcorn (45cm/18in.) 75-150 grams is good for one broom/brush; depending on your preferences.
This fiber is not treated with any chemicals and is 100% biodegradable, but with simple care will last many years or decades.
